The Captivating History of the Kilt :

The history of the kilt in Scotland goes back to ancient times, long before the kilt as we know it today. The first traces of kilt-like garments date back to the Iron Age in Scotland, around 300 B.C. These garments were woolen drapes, pleated and fastened around the body with brooches.

The kilt has undergone many changes over the centuries. At first, they were long, rectangular pieces of cloth that were draped and pleated to fit the body. Over time, it was shortened and perfected to become the pleated men's skirt we know today.

How to wear a kilt :

You've decided to wear something different from slim jeans, jogging pants or chinos!

The kilt is becoming a trendy, masculine option for men who want to look their best. However, it's important to go well with it to ensure style and a successful all-male look.

Choosing the right size: It's sometimes difficult to find the size that fits perfectly, so our kilts have a unique adjustable waistband to perfectly adjust to your waist and wrap around your hips.

No need to worry about length - it's identical on all our kilts,  unlike our 3-length wrap skirts.

One length of 62 cm (usually falls just below the knee)

Select a matching top: For the spring/summer season, you can match our utilitarian kilts with a one-color sleeveless t-shirt, knit tank top / Bermuda shorts, polo shirt. In autumn/winter, when temperatures drop, a close-fitting turtleneck sweater, hooded sweatshirt, windproof jacket, leggings, blazer, trench coat or down jacket are recommended.

For casual wear, choose from over 500 original and fancy long-sleeved shirts in cotton or viscose. For more formal occasions, opt for one of our classic dress shirts.
